Octovo hardcover in tiny-waffled black cloth cover with bright gilt lettering on spine, very tight, very straight and square spine/binding, uncut pages very clean, bright and unmarked , the cover has very mild shelfwear at bottom edge, else NFINE in dustjacket: not price clipped, striking black and white lettering on front panel, light edgewear and pea-size chips at head of spine, back panel toned with quarter-size stain, now in clear mylar jacket protector. this book is uncommon in decent condition. In 1916 Fania Mindell, Ethel Byrne and Margaret Sanger were arrested by five plain-clothesmen and carted away in a patrol wagon for telling five hundred women the need for prevention.
