Small 4to, 264pp. cloth linen spine over blue paper boards, tight binding, small chip out of spine label, uncut pages(bottom edges untrimmed) very bright and unmarked, the cover has faint shelfwear, else a Very Good Copy, covered by heavy clear mylar wrap. This is a detailed account of early printers of de Worde's age, including Lettou, Notary, Faques, Rastell, Pepwell, Pynson, etc. Including are Scottish presses, including discussion of type faces. Contains all 14 illustrations, most full page and most depicting woodcuts or typefaces.
